Roles & Responsibilities • Assess patient conditions and design individualized care plans within your scope • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to ensure excellent surgical outcomes • Provide clear, compassionate patient education tailored to each patient’s needs • Transcribe and carry out physician orders and established protocols accurately • Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate tasks to ancillary staff when appropriate • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality • Participate in required continuing education and maintain certifications Qualifications • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of Wyoming in good standing • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required or ability to obtain within six months if taking call or administering conscious sedation • CNOR certification preferred • Previous hospital experience preferred • Strong customer service, communication, time management and problem-solving skills Education • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required) Knowledge & Skills • Assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care • Patient education and effective communication with patients and families • Clinical documentation and comfort with learning new software • Ability to delegate and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice and regulatory compliance • Excellent organization, time management and listening skills Benefits • Generous travel nurse support and housing assistance to make your move easier • Comprehensive medical, dental & vision coverage to keep you healthy • Licensure assistance and reimbursement for required nursing credentials • Paid time off to recharge between assignments • Professional development support and required CEU assistance • Supportive team culture that values your skills and growth • Referral bonus program to reward you for bringing great teammates • Life insurance and other core benefits to protect what matters Travel Perks: Explore Laramie, WY Explore the great outdoors around Laramie: hike and rock climb at Vedauwoo Recreation Area, enjoy scenic drives and winter sports in the Snowy Range, cast a line in local rivers and reservoirs, and visit the University of Wyoming campus and the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site.
