Registered Nurse Surgery Prescott, Arizona Yavapai Regional Medical Center Responsibilities Responsible for providing nursing care for patients in accordance with YRMC established policies, operating practices, guidelines and national standards of care to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families. Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy. Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner. Qualifications Minimum Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent Nine (9) months of general RN or Skilled RN experience Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider Preferred Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent Professional certification in area of specialty One (1) year circulating or combination of scrub and circulating experience CVOR experience for Cardiac Surgery Service Team CT PALS Overview At Dignity Health, living our values means bringing passion into action every day.
