Your Role and Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments using skills of observation and communication to develop age-specific care plans. • Maintain a sterile field, adhering to aseptic practices while anticipating equipment and supply needs based on the patient and surgeon's requirements. • Ensure safe anatomical positioning and manage the OR environment for optimal conditions. • Facilitate staff development and participate in the orientation and training of new personnel. Position Requirements: • Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee with a nursing diploma or degree. • Previous surgical experience is required. • Ability to respond to the hospital within thirty minutes for on-call requirements. • BLS certification within 90 days of hire. • Physical capabilities to meet the demands of a surgical environment, including prolonged standing and assisting with patient handling.
