
Registered Nurse - Surgical Services in South Burlington, VT
Job Description
Unit Overview: Join our dynamic 26-bed General Surgery unit, where you will care for a diverse range of surgical and trauma patients. Our patients typically have a stay of 1-7 days, but can extend due to the complexity of their procedures. As a General Surgery RN, you will support patients recovering from general, colorectal, dental, trauma, plastic, and weight loss surgeries, as well as providing acute care for adult burn patients. You will be a vital part of a vibrant, multidisciplinary team dedicated to flexibility and support, where mentorship is a priority. We encourage your professional growth through various certifications and continuing education opportunities, as well as advancement through our Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).
On-call: Not required
Qualifications:
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure valid in Vermont.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Relevant experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
