Role Overview: We are in search of a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. You will be responsible for providing care and treatment to adults who are ill, injured, or recovering. Your expertise will be crucial in making clinical assessments and managing treatment independently. You will collaborate with an exceptional team dedicated to patient care.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Gathering comprehensive health data pertinent to patient care.
• Advocating for patients as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyzing assessment data to ascertain diagnoses.
• Identifying expected outcomes tailored to each patient.
• Ensuring patient safety and efficient use of resources.
• Educating patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments throughout their care.
Qualifications:
• Current Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license is required.
• BLS certification from AHA required within 30 days of start date.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN is preferred.
• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
