Pay is determined by relevant experience. This is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary: Join our dedicated team at UCHealth as you receive and respond to health care inquiries through the nursing process. You will play a vital role in helping patients by providing timely health care assistance, ensuring adherence to our policies, values, and mission. Responsibilities: Elicit questions and concerns from callers to assess symptoms and prioritize care needs effectively. Offer professional advice, education, and options utilizing established protocols and clinical judgment. Coordinate with emergency services as necessary and provide referrals to appropriate healthcare providers and community resources. Assist callers in scheduling appointments, document interactions, and follow up to assess the effectiveness of care. Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Graduate from an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse; multi-state RN license required upon hire. Two years of nursing experience. BLS must be certified through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with the card in hand before the start date.
