About the Unit: • 14-bed Transplant ICU with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1, transitioning to 1:1 as necessary. • Caring for patients with ESRD, ESLD, and those undergoing solid abdominal organ transplants. • Individualized orientation with dedicated preceptors and specialized training. • Engagement opportunities with physicians for grand rounds and education sessions. • Supportive team culture that values teaching, learning, and collaboration. Your Responsibilities: • Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe care independently. • Work collaboratively with the patient care team to drive quality outcomes. • Exhibit professionalism and active engagement in unit activities. • Demonstrate adaptability and serve as a resource for the team. • Take accountability for quality nursing care and positively represent the nursing profession. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program (diploma, associates, or bachelor's degree). • A minimum of six months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse. • Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License; Texas RN License required within 90 days for those with Compact License. • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
