Job Summary:- Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) - Location: Springfield, VT - Shift: 7:00am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday - Duration: 14 weeks with a possibility of extension - The RNUM is responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health through daily management and long-term planning of patient care. - The role involves directing and developing nursing staff, creating schedules and answering health-related questions. - The RNUM collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff. - They provide physical and psychological support to patients, their friends, and families. - They maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures. - The RNUM assures quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing divisions. - They enforce adherence to the state board of nursing and state nurse practice requirements. - The RNUM maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training nurses and auxiliary staff. - The role also involves completing patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff. - Experience required includes an RN License and BLS Certification. - The job requires an RN State License. - Certificates required include BLS and Covid card.
