Location: Avera Queen of Peace Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights Join our team and be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000! Student Loan Repayment: This position may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, providing monthly payments of $167 (up to $10,000) to help you pay off loans faster. Shifts include 7:00am-7:30pm and 7:00pm-7:30am; 72 hours/2 weeks including every third weekend and holiday. Compensation Bonuses: $3 shift differential for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights! Overview Provide exceptional nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and delivering comprehensive support to patients and their families, encompassing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects. Responsibilities: • Deliver detailed patient care through reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating information with the healthcare team. • Develop tailored nursing care plans based on medical histories and patient assessments. • Educate patients and their families on care goals, medications, and self-care skills. • Assess and adjust care plans according to changing patient conditions and needs. • Ensure a safe and secure patient environment by adhering to infection control protocols and legal regulations. • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services and monitor the functionality of patient care equipment. • Manage inventory of patient care supplies to ensure readiness. • Commit to ongoing professional development as guided by leadership. Qualifications: • Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice upon hire. • Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment.
