Location: Avera Queen of Peace Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 Position Highlights: • May be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000! • Student Loan Repayment: Potential eligibility for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which supports you in paying off your loans. • 7:00am-7:30pm and 7:00pm-7:30am; 72hrs/2wks including every third weekend and holiday. • $3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights! A Brief Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care by developing assessments, establishing care objectives, and implementing interventions while offering emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families. What You Will Do: • Deliver patient care by reviewing physician orders, communicating care plans with the healthcare team, and providing comprehensive support to patients and their families. • Develop nursing care plans by collecting medical histories, documenting patient conditions, and setting personalized care objectives. • Educate patients and families on care requirements and self-management techniques. • Evaluate and modify nursing care plans based on patient progress and outcomes. • Maintain patient safety and apply infection-control policies and legal regulations. • Document care accurately in patient records. • Ensure the availability of patient care supplies and equipment. • Stay current in nursing practices as mandated by leadership. Essential Qualifications: To excel in this role, you must be capable of meeting specified work hours, performing essential job functions, and effectively communicating. Reasonable accommodations may be made as necessary. Required education, license/certification, or work experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state of practice upon hire. Preferred education, license/certification, or work experience: • 1-3 years of clinical experience.
