Your contributions significantly impact our patients' lives, and we are searching for a dedicated RN - Women's Services Super Pool to join our esteemed team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for delivering safe, high-quality care to all laboring patients from admission to post-delivery. You will be familiar with vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring, and providing care involving various types of anesthesia. This role requires expertise in caring for patients during the PACU period and offering newborn care during the first two hours of life.
What qualifications will you need?
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of employment start date.
• Must possess a Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas; compact or multi-state license is accepted.
• Associate Degree required; BSN required within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position.
• At least three years of recent RN experience in Women Services within a hospital setting, including Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Antepartum.
• Demonstrated ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to four years old.
• Participation in an on-call schedule is required.
