Take on this impactful role. Use your expertise in wound and ostomy care as you deliver pre- and post-operative treatment and education to patients and their families. Work independently while enjoying shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, supportive colleagues and much more. Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, and participate in initiatives focused on improving quality and performance, such as minimizing readmissions of our patients.

This is a Full Time 12.5 hour shift position working Monday - Friday 6a-7:15p and 7a-8:15pm; flexibility on start and end times is required to meet department needs. Also includes occasional Split weekend coverage.

Preferred Criteria
• Applicable experience in an academic medical center (includes experience partnering with interns/residents/attendings)
Masters preferred

Required Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• NYS RN License
• At least 4 years of acute care nursing experience
• Certification in Wound and Ostomy Care
• Graduation from an accredited wound and ostomy nursing education program
• BCLS certification
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills to drive engagement
• An independent thinker who can quickly resolve patient care issues utilizing the skills and knowledge of the interdisciplinary team

Salary Range:
$128,100-$169,000/Annual
