Registered Nurse/Correctional/Contractual in Carson City, MI

PIE Management is seeking a Registered Nurse in Carson City, MI. This position will be working with a multi-discipline team and will be 1 year long in duration. Shift: 2nd/3rd Shift Job Description: • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests • Observe, assess and record patients physical, psychological and social needs • Document patient history, symptoms, assessments, tests, and care according to guidelines • Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate • Administer medication and treatment to patients, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options • Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients • Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans • Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and nurse aides Education: • Bachelor’s Degree required Requirements: • Must have a current RN License in the State of Michigan • Must have BLS / CPR from the American Heart Association ( AHA ) Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: $64.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance Medical specialties: • Wound Care Physical setting: • Acute care • Inpatient Standard shift: • Evening shift Experience: • Nursing: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • BLS Certification (Required) • RN License (Required) • CPR Certification (Required) Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $64.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
