Registered Nurse/Correctional/Contractual/1400-2230 in Eastlake, MI

PIE Management is seeking a Registered Nurse in Manistee, MI. This position will be working with a multi-discipline team and will be 1 year long in duration.

Shift: 1400-2230 and 2200-0600

Job Description:
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Observe, assess and record patients physical, psychological and social needs
• Document patient history, symptoms, assessments, tests, and care according to guidelines
• Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate
• Administer medication and treatment to patients, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options
• Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
• Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans
• Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and nurse aides

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Requirements:
• Must have a current RN License in the State of Michigan
• Must have BLS / CPR from the American Heart Association ( AHA )
