Registered Nurse/Emergency Room: Duration:13 Weeks Start:02/23/2026 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Description: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) provides immediate and compassionate care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries. They assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to stabilize critical situations. ER nurses monitor vital signs, perform procedures, and document patient information accurately while maintaining a calm, organized approach in a fast-paced environment. They educate patients and families on care plans and safety measures, ensuring both medical and emotional support. Strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and excellent communication are essential for handling high-pressure, unpredictable scenarios. Local BR differs! The staff Nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment: planning, implementation and evaluation, so that the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative and learning needs of patients and their families are addressed. This function is performed in association with nursing peers and co-workers, attending physicians and allied support services. This position is responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing the activities of the ancillary staff. Requirements: • BLS • ACLS • PALS • NIHSS • 2 years of ER experience Shift: 3 x 12 Nights, 1900-0730 weekend rotation required, no on call requirement.
