Registered Nurse/Hospice in Charlotte, NC

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Home Health/Hospice and Skilled Nursing experience
• End-of-Life Care and Medication administration skills
• Professional knowledge and symptom management skills
• BLS Certification

Preferred Skills
• End-of-Life Care and Ethical/Legal Issues
• Advanced medication and IV management
• Professional knowledge in DME authorization
• Symptom management for conditions like Ascites

Job Details
• Average Daily Census: 63; 5 Visits/Day
• 40 hours/week; 8-hour shifts from 0800 - 1700
• 13-week contract
• On-call rotation for weekends
• Patient Diagnoses: Primarily geriatric with 6 months or less to live
• Unit Systems: EPIC Remote Client, SBAR
• Scheduling: Per unit needs
• Unit Orientation: 40 hours plus hospital orientation
• Scrubs: All navy blue (not provided)
