
Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - Evening/Night Shift in East Cape Girardeau, IL
Job Description
LPN Hourly Pay
• Day shift: $29.30 - $31.28/hour
• Evening and night shift: $31.30 - $33.28/hour
• Pay commensurate with experience
• Additional $1.50/hour weekend shift differential available
RN Hourly Pay
• Day shift: $38.92 - $41.39/hour
• Evening and night shift: $42.42 - $45.56/hour
• Pay commensurate with experience
EXAMPLES OF WORK
• Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift on assigned unit
• Assess needs of Veterans and ensures services are consistent with needs
• Implement Veteran MDS and care plan according to healthcare protocol
• Make rounds with the physician, inform of status of patients and receive instructions for care and treatment
• Transcribe and implement physician’s orders accurately
• Document accurately all nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in electronic medical record (EMR)
• Give medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician accurately with follow-up observations
• Assist Veteran with various needs such as transferring, positioning, transporting, feeding, promoting elimination, toileting, bathing and showering, etc.
• Assist Veteran upon admission and/or discharge
• Participate in orientation of unit staff
Qualifications
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Missouri, in good standing, or
• A recent graduate of an accredited nursing program may practice as a graduate nurse until results of first licensure examination are received or until 90 days after graduation, whichever occurs first, as allowed by the Missouri Board of Nursing
