Registered Nurse/Operating Room in Charleston, SC

Job Title Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Location Charleston, SC 29425 Duration 13 week contract Shift • Days • Options: • 4x10s: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM • One late week every 4 weeks to complete cases • No weekends • No on-call requirements Key Responsibilities • Provide perioperative nursing care in an ambulatory operating room setting • Scrub and/or circulate for surgical procedures across multiple specialties • Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members • Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet operational demands • May be required to precept care team members in the operating room • Comply with all facility policies, safety standards, and emergency preparedness requirements Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience • Experience working in a fast-paced ambulatory OR environment • Ability to float within perioperative services as needed • Must meet facility scheduling and RTO submission requirements Current Certifications • BLS (Basic Life Support) • South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License • Radiation Badge (must be provided by the agency) Preferred Qualifications • Experience in one or more of the following specialties: • Ophthalmology • Orthopedics • ENT • GYN • GU • Endocrine • Surgical Oncology • Prior experience in an ambulatory or outpatient surgical setting Distance Requirement • 60-mile local radius rule applies • Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
