Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse - OR, ED, and Psychiatric located in Charleston, SC. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and monitoring patient progress. Duties will include administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, educating patients and families about medical conditions and treatments, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. The Registered Nurse will also ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
• Strong Clinical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of patient care, diagnostic procedures, and treatment planning
• Patient Interaction Skills: Proficiency in patient assessment, education, and communication
• Technical Skills: Experience with medical equipment, administering medications, and performing diagnostic tests
• Healthcare Compliance: Understanding of healthcare regulations and ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
