Registered Nurse Location: Kansas City, MO Position Type: Nursing Specialties: Med/Surg, Cardiac Care Shift: Days (7am-7pm), Nights (7pm-7am) Compensation • Pay Range: $30 – $41/hour; shift differential available for nights/weekends +$4/hr Key Responsibilities • You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease-specific protocols. • You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. • You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies. • You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice. Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of acute care • Cardiac care needed for this specialty • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required. • BLS certification required at hire and maintained. • ACLS required within 6 months.
