Job Description
Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with critical cardiovascular and multisystem conditions at a well-regarded healthcare facility. This contract opportunity focuses on night shifts, with flexibility required for floating to various units per staffing needs. Nurses will deliver specialized care including administration of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drugs, thrombolytic therapy, and cardiac monitoring.

Schedule/Hours:
Night shift, 3 shifts per week
12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
Weekend coverage every other weekend
Floating to other qualified units as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and care for adult patients with life-threatening cardiac and multisystem conditions
Administer specialized therapies including vasoactive drug infusions, antiarrhythmic medications, and thrombolytics
Perform advanced cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKGs, and assist with defibrillation/cardioversion procedures
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and utilize EPIC electronic health records effectively
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
Minimum two years of nursing experience in a related field
At least one year of EPIC electronic health record experience
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Proven competency with cardiac and critical care procedures
Will consider first-time travel nurses with relevant experience
