A nursing role is available on a specialized Telemetry Stepdown unit focused on cardiac care. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, and social sciences to patients requiring cardiac monitoring. • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with evidence-based practices and unit protocols. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote an ongoing partnership between patients, families, and providers. • Administer intravenous medication titration and assist with conscious sedation during cardioversions. • Maintain adherence to the American Nursing Association (ANA) Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act. • Utilize advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and ECG interpretation skills to monitor patient cardiac status. Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). • Successful completion of an ECG interpretation course. • Experience or strong interest in cardiac telemetry and stepdown care. • Ability to provide culturally competent and age-specific care.
