Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Kaneohe, Hawaii in Ahuimanu, HI

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Neuro Telemetry to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting located in Kaneohe, HI. This contract role spans 13 weeks with rotating shifts and offers 48 guaranteed hours weekly, providing a balanced schedule for professionals dedicated to neurological patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in Neuro Telemetry or Neuro Stepdown units
• Proficiency in EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Certification in AHA or APEX NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Valid Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license

Responsibilities:
• Provide expert nursing care and monitoring to neuro telemetry patients in accordance with established protocols
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and communication of patient information
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Apply the NIH Stroke Scale for assessment and ongoing evaluation of neurological status
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies

Schedule/Hours:
• Rotating shifts with guaranteed 48 hours per week
