Qualifications : • Current RN license (compact license accepted) • Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience • Certifications required : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale Certification • Ability to wear navy blue scrub colors as standard attire • Flexibility to float among different units within the same facility • Comfortable working every other weekend and a 12-hour daytime shift Responsibilities : • Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients, responding promptly to changes in patient status • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans • Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols • Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and care procedures • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation • Adhere to facility policies and nursing standards to ensure high-quality patient care Schedule : • 12-hour day shifts • 36 hours per week • Start dates available every other Monday • Weekend requirement every other weekend • No on-call requirements About the Location : Kissimmee, FL, is a vibrant community known for its warm climate and close proximity to major attractions and natural parks.
