
Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Little Rock, Arkansas in Little Rock, AR
Job Description
A registered nurse with Telemetry experience is needed to provide specialized patient care during night shifts. This contract opportunity, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, offers a focused setting to utilize your skills in cardiac monitoring and patient assessment within critical care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid Arkansas State or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome
• Ability to pass a basic dysrhythmia test (required for RNs)
• Willingness to comply with a return staff policy requiring a one-year absence before returning
• Capability to work within a 100-mile radius rule, excluding local residents
Shift and Schedule:
• Night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Contract length: 12 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize dysrhythmias
• Administer nursing care and medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and communication with physicians
