Key responsibilities include managing patient care following nursing protocols and hospital policies, with an emphasis on ventilator and tracheostomy management, central line knowledge, and wound care. The nurse will coordinate and delegate care tasks effectively, maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education, and supervise other staff members delivering patient services. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:6 to ensure focused care.
