Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Westbrook, Maine in Westbrook, ME

This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized inpatient nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The role requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care, delivering high-quality patient-centered treatment in an acute care setting. The 45-bed unit provides care for medical-surgical and cardiac patients, with typical patient-to-nurse ratios of 4-5 during the day and 5-6 at night. You will become an essential part of the care team, using your clinical skills and judgement to support patient recovery. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac telemetry, delivering assessments and interventions, administering medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records using EPIC. One call shift every 8 weeks and rotating every other weekend coverage are required. The schedule guarantees 36 hours per week, providing a balanced workload.
