As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will:
• Perform patient care within the guidelines of hospital/clinic policies and procedures and scope of practice.
• Apply background knowledge of pathophysiology of disease and nursing skill techniques in initial encounter with patients, recognizing and reporting to the provider any potentially emergency and/or critical cases.
• Accurately prepare and administer prescribed medications according to hospital/clinic procedures and scope of practice.
• Complete appropriate documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.
• Perform venipuncture, gives allergy and other injections.
• Prepare patients for examination, procedures, treatments and assist provider as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, resident, and personnel information.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing for Registered Nurse.
• Current / unrestricted Iowa nursing license.
• BLS certified within 30 days of employment.
• Mandatory Reporter certifications within 30 days of hire.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Additional Details:
Department: Nevada Clinic
Employment Type: Full Time, 34 hours per week
Schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm, 4 days per week.
Salary Range: $29.75 - $44.63 per hour (competitive and commensurate with experience)
