Located in Auburn, ME, this role provides opportunities to engage with diverse patient populations across three dedicated units : a 31-bed Alzheimers / dementia care unit, a 42-bed transitional rehabilitation unit specializing in post-surgical and short-term care, and a 42-bed long-term care unit. Each environment fosters teamwork and individualized patient care. Qualifications and Desired Experience : • Associates degree in Nursing required • Valid State of Maine or compact RN license mandatory • 1-3 years of RN experience preferred • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous • Strong communication and teamwork skills essential • Adaptability to work varied shifts and float between units as needed Responsibilities Include : • Partner with patients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care • Manage nursing duties including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessments • Employ verbal and non-verbal communication techniques sensitive to cognitive impairments • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment tailored to resident needs • Provide coverage across 24 / 7 shifts with flexibility to support other units Location Highlights : Auburn, ME offers a welcoming community with a blend of urban amenities and natural beauty.
