Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) in Concord, NH in Bow, NH

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care. This contract position offers the chance to apply your expertise in a supportive inpatient rehab environment, providing compassionate care to patients recovering from a range of conditions.

Location: Concord, NH

Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care on a 19-bed inpatient rehab unit.
• Manage patient care with a focus on rehabilitation, med-surg, IV therapies, wound care, stroke, and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
• Utilize mechanical lifts, Sara steady devices, Baxter and Kangaroo pumps effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at an approximate 6:1 patient-to-staff ratio.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress codes, and participate in weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Demonstrate flexibility by potentially floating to CCU, Med Surg, or ER as needed.

Qualifications:
• Active RN license with experience in Rehab and Med-Surg nursing.
• Proficiency in IV therapy is essential.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred skills include wound care, stroke, and TBI patient management.
• Strong interpersonal skills: flexible, kind, and thorough approach to patient care.

Schedule/Hours:
• Day and night shifts available
• Weekend coverage every other weekend required
