A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in rehabilitation and long-term care nursing to provide comprehensive care in a supportive healthcare environment. Responsibilities:
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and facility protocols.
• Assist physicians by preparing equipment and supporting treatments and examinations.
• Monitor, document, and report residents’ conditions, reactions to medications, and any significant incidents to supervisors, physicians, and families.
• Conduct vital sign assessments including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure to evaluate residents’ health status.
• Coordinate nursing services within the resident unit, ensuring compliance with physicians’ orders, federal and state regulations, and facility policies.
• Support nursing staff through orientation, training, and performance evaluation to maintain high standards of care.
• Maintain accurate records related to narcotics, admissions, discharges, transfers, and incident reports.
• Participate actively in care planning processes, complete nursing assessments, and develop resident care plans detailed and timely.
• Uphold resident confidentiality and dignity while adhering to Resident Rights and promptly reporting accidents or injuries.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Current and valid Registered Nurse licensure for the State of Michigan.
• Experience in rehabilitation and long-term care nursing.
• Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, medication administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
