Location : Dover, NH While the position is based in the Dover area, it is essential to note that the inpatient rehab unit is located within a hospital setting in Rochester, NH, a short commute away. Key Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care specializing in rehabilitation and medical-surgical patients Manage IV therapy and patient medication administration, including Baxter and Kangaroo pump operation Utilize mechanical lift devices such as Sara Steady to ensure patient safety Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR system Adhere strictly to infection control standards and unit policies Participate in weekend rotations every other weekend to provide continuous patient care Qualifications and Experience: Current RN licensure with proven experience in rehab and med-surg nursing IV therapy proficiency required Wound care, stroke, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) experience preferred Valid BLS certification is mandatory Ability to work flexibly within a team, demonstrating kindness, thoroughness, and adaptability Additional Information: Patient to nurse ratio typically 6:1 Staffing includes charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and occasional sitters Dress code: plain color scrubs Floating opportunities available in CCU, Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Departments This contract role is ideal for an experienced nurse seeking a professional challenge in a supportive environment.
