Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans • Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely • Communicate pertinent patient information to physicians and nurse practitioners • Manage admissions and discharges with attention to detail • Provide ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assistance to residents • Deliver specialized care including gastrostomy tube, urinary catheter, nebulizer treatments, wound vac, and CPAP care • Adhere to all facility protocols and documentation standards • Participate in varied shift schedules including days, evenings, and nights with weekend, holiday, and possible overtime rotations Qualifications and Desired Experience • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, or immediate application for Hawaii state licensure upon acceptance of offer; license must be active at start date • Experience in Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care nursing • Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in fast-paced environments • Flexibility to work varied 8-hour shifts (07:30 – 15:30, 15:00 – 23:30, 23:00 – 07:30) • Commitment to arriving in Hawaii in advance to complete mandatory pre-employment health appointment Additional Details This contract position requires arriving in Honokaa on the Thursday before your start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Candidates unable to meet this requirement should not accept the offered start date.
