Rehab/Long-Term Care Nurse (RN) | Exeter, New Hampshire in Brentwood, NH

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in rehabilitation and long-term care to provide compassionate, high-quality care in an inpatient rehab setting. This contract position is based in Exeter, NH, offering a chance to work in a well-established healthcare environment specializing in patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include managing patient care on a 19-bed inpatient rehab unit with a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. You will work closely with a dedicated team during day and night shifts, utilizing specialized equipment such as mechanical lifts, Baxter and Kangaroo pumps, and electronic medical records systems like Meditech. The role requires administering IV therapies, performing wound care, and caring for patients recovering from stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Flexibility, kindness, and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing
• IV therapy competency
• Preferred skills: wound care, stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury care
• BLS certification (required)
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments in CCU, Med Surg, and ER as needed

Schedule:
• Every other weekend coverage
• Flexible shift availability including days and nights
