Location: Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights: 24 hours per 2 weeks with rotating shifts. Position Overview As a Remote Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing patient needs, establishing care plans, and providing essential support to patients and their families. Your role will involve: • Providing comprehensive patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating nursing care plans to the healthcare team. • Gathering medical histories, conducting patient examinations, and developing individualized nursing diagnoses and objectives. • Instructing patients and families on care goals, medications, and self-care methods to promote understanding and engagement. • Evaluating patient outcomes, noting changes in conditions, and adjusting care plans accordingly. • Ensuring a safe care environment through adherence to infection control and organizational policies. • Documenting patient care services accurately in patient records. • Maintaining and troubleshooting patient care equipment, ensuring it functions effectively. • Managing inventory of patient care supplies to ensure readiness. • Staying proficient in nursing competencies as directed by leadership. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must have the ability to work the specified hours and perform essential job functions effectively. This includes having sufficient visual acuity for job duties and strong communication skills. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: • 1-3 years of clinical experience.
