**Join Our Neuro ICU Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift!**

• **Shift:** 3x12, Nights, 1845 - 0715
• **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
• **Call Requirements:** None
• **Licenses:** NV RN license required prior to start
• **Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• *Experience Required:**

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
• Experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post Neuro-surgery patients
• Preferred experience with post Alteplase and/or post Thrombectomy patients
• Preferred experience with post neurosurgical patients with external ventricular drains
• *Unit Description:**

• 18 bed Beacon Designated Intensive Care Unit
• Specializes in Neuro ICU patient care including ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, neurologic tumors, seizures, etc.
• Cares for general Medical ICU patients (DKA, sepsis, respiratory issues)
• Focus on clinical excellence and exceptional customer service
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary, patient-centered environment
• *Additional Comments:**

• Travelers may float to meet organizational needs
• May require working major holidays and picking up one additional shift
• Renown retains the right to call off without penalty for low census
• Schedule varies based on department needs including weekends and holidays
• *Hospital Information:**

• Extremely busy environment serving a 500-mile radius
• Level II Trauma Center with Stroke accreditation
• 800 in-patient bed hospital with a pace of a Level I trauma center
• *Hiring Profile:**

• Provide optimal patient care through the nursing process
• Accountable for individualized patient outcomes
• Deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Engage families/caregivers in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Demonstrate cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to patient populations
• Coordinate care with other professionals as necessary
• Intensive mental effort required for patient care and interactions
