- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Call Requirements:** None
- **Licenses:** NV RN license required prior to start
- **Required Certifications:**
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
• *Experience Requirements:**

- Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required
- Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred
- Proficient in handling:
- Vasopressors
- Titratable drips
- Art lines
- Neuro-stepdown patients
- Procedural sedation
- Thrombolytics
- Trach management
- Must pass an ECG/Telemetry exam; failure will result in contract termination
• *Unit Overview:**

- 18 beds focused on patients with severe, yet non-life threatening conditions
- Care for diverse medical issues, including:
- Post ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes
- Sepsis
- Cardiac
- Respiratory
- Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional customer service in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
• *Additional Information:**

- Travelers may need to float based on organizational needs, up to their competency level
- Availability to work major holidays is required
- Must pick up one additional shift during each 4-week period
- Variable scheduling based on department needs including weekends and holidays
• *Holiday Requirements:**

- Travelers must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• *Hospital Environment:**

- Extremely busy and fast-paced
- Serving a 500-mile radius
- Level II Trauma Center with stroke accreditation
- 800 in-patient bed facility with the volume and pace of a Level I trauma center
