Per diem; varied hours/shifts according to operational needs Job Description • UNIT DESCRIPTION: 3 East is a29 bed medical surgical/telemetry unit . 3EB is a focus unit for cardiac and medical patients who have a need for cardiac monitoring, education about their illness, treatment health restoration, and maintenance. Preference will be given, by seniority, to those qualified nurses who were serially displaced within the 18 months following his/her displacement according toMNAcontract section 9.4 (f)(1). Minimum Requirements • Current Massachusetts RN License • Evidence of Continuing Education. • 2 years of Med Surg experience required • Current Telemetry experience or able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of beginning position. • Current AHA BLS Certification. • Utilizes appropriate time management skills. Communicates effectively. Recommended Requirements • Documented Professional Developmental activities • Knowledge of Critical Paths • Charge Nurse experience preferred • BSN Preferred • AHA ACLS Preferred As with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed Pay Range $37.14 - $76.08 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
