Job Description

The Acute Care Unit is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care. This unit cares for a variety of patients with different levels of acuity, from medical-surgical to critical care.

Responsibilities
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Perform a variety of procedures, including IV starts, EKG monitoring, and wound care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification required; ACLS must be completed prior to the end of orientation.
• Preferred experience in ICU or Stepdown settings and at least one year of med/surg experience.
