Night Emergency Department Registered Nurse Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3×12 Hour Shifts, Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday requirements. Job Description We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in handling diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Responsibilities • Manage patient care through effective triage and assessment of emergencies. • Start IVs and perform phlebotomy as required. • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias. • Provide care for ventilated patients and manage invasive lines. • Document patient information accurately using the Epic charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. • Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS. • Preferred: TNCC and charge RN experience. • Ability to pass a stress EKG exam required for all RNs.
