Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with mental health issues, including de-escalation techniques and effective communication skills. You will be responsible for patient assessments, documentation, and coordination with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention.
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Must have a valid RN license in Virginia.
• Required certifications: BLS, CPI or Handle with Care.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Must possess skills in communication, de-escalation, and patient assessment.
