Behavioral Health Night Nurse Location OK Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule or Shift Night shift, 3×12-hour schedule (18:45 – 07:15), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will work in a locked unit environment and will be responsible for managing patients with various mental health conditions. Previous charge experience is preferred. Responsibilities • Administer medications and monitor patient responses. • Implement behavior management techniques and crisis interventions. • Conduct therapeutic interactions with patients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in behavioral health. • Valid OK or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission. • Certifications: BLS, CPI, and MAB required. • Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
