Community-Based Mental Health Clinician Location Clarksburg, WV Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Job Description This position involves working in a community-based program focused on delivering mental health services to individuals with chronic mental illness, specifically those dealing with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. The clinician will engage in one-on-one interactions with clients, providing medication checks, administering injections, and offering education on dietary habits and medication adherence. Responsibilities • Check in medications from the pharmacy and prepare for weekly distribution. • Deliver medications and administer mental illness injections to clients in the community. • Conduct home visits to encourage medication adherence and discuss healthy habits. • Meet daily with the team for updates and planning. • Document each client encounter in the EPIC charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Must be a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). • BLS certification required. • Experience working with individuals with mental illnesses in a community-based setting.
