Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab. The RN will work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking. This position requires adherence to standards of care and documentation, as well as participation in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities
• Utilizes the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to established guidelines.
• Ensures accurate documentation in compliance with standards of care.
• Develops and executes individualized patient care plans.
• Provides patient and family education at appropriate levels of understanding.
• Engages in performance improvement initiatives and peer review.
• Acts to resolve any system breakdowns and contributes to solutions.
• Utilizes critical thinking to enhance patient safety and experience.
• Supports personal development and evidence-based practice guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of critical care experience required.
• Cardiovascular intervention experience is required.
• Current WI or Compact RN licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must successfully pass EKG test and obtain NIHSS certification.
