Overview: The pivotal role of a Registered Nurse (RN) centers on providing excellent patient care and securing positive patient outcomes through the proficient and compassionate utilization of nursing expertise. With oversight from superiors, this position fosters professional nursing practices by organizing patient care through the nursing process and collaborative efforts among various healthcare teams. Responsibilities: • Reviews the healthcare needs and current health conditions of patients within the designated unit to deliver tailored nursing care and attention. • Scrutinizes patient data, encompassing medical background, diagnostic outcomes, and existing health status, to formulate personalized nursing care programs. • Arranges nursing protocols, including the administration of medications and therapies, in order to deliver all-encompassing and efficient care to patients. • Evaluates the response of patients to interventions and identifies any extra steps required to accomplish the defined care goals. • Partners with an interdisciplinary team to enhance care planning effectiveness. • Performs extra duties as assigned. Qualifications: EDUCATION: Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE: Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required: • Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
