Job Description
Summary
CentraCare has an incredible opportunity in the Rice Memorial Hospital Cancer Center for a skilled nurse to join their team! The Cancer Center is an outpatient department within the hospital.
Responsible for direct/indirect patient care and teaching through the nursing process. Provides care to patients under direction of provider within scope of practice. Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care. May include working as charge nurse up to half time once candidate is orientated to the unit.
Schedule
• 64 hours every 2 weeks
• Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 4:30PM
Pay and Benefits
• Pay rate minimum: $39.12 (ADN); $39.44 (BSN); $40.20 (MSN)
• Pay range, based on experience: $39.12 to $60.60

• $3,500 Sign-on bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance available.
• New grads welcome! We offer a Nurse Residency Program, partnered with St. Cloud Hospital, for your first year along with a monthly mentorship program.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• AED/CPR training required.
• Acquire Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) cert within 2 years of hire required. This must be maintained throughout employment in department.
• Minimum one year of experience in field preferred, not required.
• Infusion experience preferred, not required.
• Communication/documentation skills.
• Nursing Assessment skills as well as procedural skills to include IV’s.
• Comprehensive clinical nursing knowledge, personal management and crisis management.
To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work. May not have worked for CentraCare in the past nine months.
CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to hiring and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
