Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse - Evening Shift Location Greensboro, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Mid 5x8-Hour Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide exceptional patient care in our acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with various specialties such as ICU, MS, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, and Obs. This role requires significant charge nurse experience with a solid understanding of discharge planning, needs assessments, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities • Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices. • Supervise patient care delivery and oversee nursing staff. • Engage in discharge planning and develop comprehensive care plans. • Coordinate case management and utilization review activities. • Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute hospital settings. • Previous charge nurse experience required. • BLS certification required. • EPIC experience is essential. • Knowledge of CMS regulations and standards.
