Job Description

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position. Must be able to direct other staff providing direct and indirect patient care. Must be able to circulate and/or scrub in the Operating Room. Flexible hours and taking call are required. Thorough knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures and surgical equipment and instruments required. EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: · Must be graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program with current Alabama licensure. · Previous Operating Room experience is helpful. · Code Blue classes or ACLS required. · RNI / RNII / RN III: Meets established requirements.
