Support physicians/providers during patient visits and complete related clinical orders. Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records (EMR). Respond to phone calls from pharmacies, patients, physician offices, and other healthcare entities. Perform blood work and assist with Coumadin clinic duties as needed. Educate patients and families on diagnostic procedures and treatment plans. Interrogate pacemakers/defibrillators and assist in device clinics. Complete healthcare-related forms and assist with insurance pre-certifications. Help manage medical supply orders and ensure compliance with mandated clinic checks. Support other departments and clinics as needed. Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiovascular patients. Ensure patient safety and continuity of care through accurate documentation. Facilitate smooth clinic operations by assisting with orders, procedures, and patient education. Collaborate with physicians and support staff to improve patient flow and satisfaction. Promote CIS's mission through flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism. Enhance care quality by maintaining clinical protocols and supporting risk management efforts. Licensed Registered Nurse with current, unencumbered state licensure. 12 years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiology. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Strong communication and multitasking skills in a clinical setting. Willing to complete CIS-assigned cardiology and EKG courses within 12 months of hire. Committed to continuous learning and adapting to the needs of the clinic.
