Position Summary: The RN Clinic, Family/Internal Medicine provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, supporting both primary care and internal medicine services within the outpatient clinic setting. This role performs patient assessments, assists with treatments and minor procedures, coordinates care plans, and supports the management of both chronic and acute health conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic staff, the RN helps ensure care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with clinical standards and organizational policies. The position functions within a supportive, team-based environment where communication, coordination, and shared responsibility are essential. Through accurate documentation, patient-centered education, and consistent collaboration, the RN Clinic, Family/Internal Medicine supports efficient clinic operations and positive health outcomes for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, obtain vital signs, review medical histories, and prepare patients for provider evaluation across a variety of primary and internal medicine visits. Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered, and assist with in-clinic procedures following established protocols and safety standards. Provide patient education on chronic disease management, preventive health, medications, and follow-up instructions to support improved self-care and long-term wellness. Document assessments, interventions, and communications accurately and promptly within the electronic health record. Maintain exam room readiness, manage clinical supplies, and follow infection-prevention and safety procedures to support smooth clinic operations. Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and care transitions in collaboration with providers, ancillary services, and satellite clinic locations.
